We may collect the following personal data: account details (email, username), usage data (AI prompts, generation logs), social activity (likes, comments, follows), payment records, uploaded images and generated content, and optional social profile links.

2. AI data transmission

Critical disclosure. Prompts and uploaded images may be transmitted to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) for processing. This includes text prompts and image uploads submitted for AI editing. Users should review those providers’ privacy policies independently.

memeai.studio has no control over how third-party AI providers store or process data, and accepts no liability for third-party handling of that data.

3. Prompt storage

Prompts are stored in the platform database and linked to generated content. This data constitutes personal data under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Users may request deletion of their prompt data at any time.

4. Data retention

Non-favourited content is automatically deleted after a set period. Favourited content is retained indefinitely. Deleted content is not recoverable under any circumstances.

5. Video storage

AI-generated videos are stored as MP4 files, limited to 50 per user. Older non-favourited videos may be removed automatically to enforce this limit.

6. Public profiles & data exposure

User profiles are publicly visible by default. Optional social links may be displayed on your profile. Users retain control over this information and may remove it at any time.

7. Name anonymisation

Real names are replaced with username slugs across the platform. This is intended to reduce public exposure of personal identity information.

8. Public sharing

Content shared via public URLs may be indexed by search engines or cached by third-party platforms. memeai.studio cannot control the external reuse or redistribution of publicly shared content.

9. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and local storage for session management, personalisation, and core platform functionality. By using the platform, you consent to this use.

10. Third-party services

The platform relies on third-party AI providers (AI processing), Hostinger (hosting), and third-party payment providers. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies independently.

11. How we use your data

We use collected data to provide platform functionality, track usage for billing and badges, improve our services, and maintain platform security. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

12. Access & deletion rights
